Wishing And Hoping
It's now 10 days since I lost my job, and I have just been incredibly busy for the whole of this time, and yet I still have as many tasks to complete as I did when I started. I just don't know where the time has gone.
True I have managed to go to the pool twice most days and do 20 or 30 lengths of the pool, but I haven't laid out in the sun and relaxed, it's been down 7 flights of stairs, swim, and back up 7 flights of stairs (puff, pant) and then back to work.
I have my medical stuff mostly taken care of too, since my insurance runs out at the end of the month. Eyeglasses should be in on Tuesday, I have a dental appointment to get a crown fitted on Monday (ouch in the wallet - insurance only covers 50% of the cost), and I got a pretty clear result from the doctor, other than my cholesterol being a bit high. I will have to work on that, maybe it was the nice big bacon sandwich I had the other day :)
I've been really busy blogging, promoting, have two new blogs in the pipeline, and last night I created my first store on Zazzle. I like the products, but will they sell in a poor economy? At a time when people are cutting back on cost, will enough spend extra for personalized items to make the effort worthwhile?
I'm off to see my girls this afternoon and evening, but other than that, it will be a weekend to clean the car, dust the condo (maybe!), and work on the blogs and lenses to try and attract some more traffic. Aaagghh I also still have my taxes to do...
Adsense is really down this month, I don't know why. Some clicks pay 1c where others pay $1 or more. I need to find the secret and to create articles and pages that will attract the clicks on adverts that pay more. That might help a lot towards increasing my income.
Well have a good weekend everyone.
Tony
